    Granulating Dryer Introduction

    Granulating dryer is a steel slag dryer for drying large scale of materials, and it has large production capability, large application scope, small flow resistance and convenient operation. Steel slag dryer is widely used in the drying for the sand, river sand, slag, coal cinder, quartz sand, etc.

    Granulating dryer is mainly used in building materials, metallurgy, mineral processing, chemical industry, and it is generally used to dry granular materials as well as some sticky paste materials, it can dry the slag, silica sand, clay, sand, river sand, grain slag or some other large and wet materials.

    Steel slag dryer is simple to operate and has rational device design, low power consumption, stable performance, wide application ranges, fewer constraints, good product performance, meeting the standard requirements and strong adaptability to a variety of materials.

    Granulating Dryer Principle 

    The wet material to be dried is sent into the hopper by the belt conveyor or bucket elevator and sent into feed end through feeding pipe of feeder hopper. The slope angle of the feeding pipe should be larger than the natural inclination of the materials in order to make the materials smoothly flow into the dryer. The dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder with slight inclines to the horizontal line. The materials are sent from the higher end and the heat-carrying agents are sent from the lower end to be countercurrent contact with the materials. Some heat-carrying agents and materials flow altogether into the end of the barrel with the gravity effect as the rotation of the cylinder.
