    Clay Dryer Introduction

    Clay dryer or clay drying machine is a specially designed dryer mainly used for drying clay, plaster and viscous materials. Advanced technology is applied to the manufacture of the clay dryer, which has many favorable advantages such as reasonable structure, stable and simple operation, wear durability, higher thermal efficiency and better drying effect. The clay dryer is capable of disposing various materials such as mix mortar, sand, cement slag, clay, coal gangue, mixture, coal ash, gypsum, iron powder and other raw materials, which is widely used in building materials, chemical industry, foundry and other industries.

    Clay Dryer Features

    1. The combination of high efficient feed plate improves the exchange efficiency between the material and the hot air and accelerates the drying speed.
    2. Clay dryer adopts high-efficient furnace to heat and further improve the moisture evaporation intensity.

    Clay Dryer Principle

    Wet materials are sent into hopper through belt conveyor or bucket elevator, and then are sent into feed end through feeding pipe of feeder hopper. The slope angle of the feeding pipe should be larger than the natural inclination of the materials in order to make the materials smoothly flow into the clay dryer. The clay dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder with slight incline to the horizontal line. The materials are sent from the higher end and the heat-carrying agents are sent from the lower end to be in countercurrent contact with the materials. Some heat-carrying agents and materials flow altogether into the end of the barrel under gravity with the rotation of the cylinder. In the process of moving forward in the barrel, the wet materials directly or indirectly gain the heat of the heat-carrying agent and then be dried. Afterwards the discharge end discharges the finished products through belt conveyor or screw conveyor.
